But let’s take a step back.
The ritual starts from the moment you enter the space via a convenient ‘tap in’ process. “We’re not an in-and-out kind of service,” explains Ash. And while the tan itself only takes four minutes total, guests are encouraged to start in the waterfall shower and use the included Aesop products before tanning and then, simply, to take a moment to themselves with a complimentary cup of collagen tea, glass sparkling water and snack (hello, Biscoff). “It’s a whole journey,” says Ash.

With three different tan solutions available, Ash says there’s something for every base-tone and for every level of convenience, from overnight to rapid tan, and each with four different levels of depth.
Also on offer are 20-minute Dermalux LED Phototherapy treatments.
“We're the only studio in Australia to use CE and TGA-approved machines in a self-service setting; these are the only machines globally that are medically CE-certified for acne, psoriasis, wound healing and pain relief (muscular-skeletal),” tells Ash. “You come in, do your prep, choose your LED treatment, pop your goggles on, and finally, you press go as you lie back and enjoy the zero gravity massage chairs that work simultaneously.”
