Cambridge Markets Return To The Shire This Weekend
180 Stalls, Fresh Produce, Rides, Live Music and More
Posted January, 2020
After being postponed earlier this year, Cambridge Markets are finally returning to Wanda Beach this weekend. This 180-stall waterside market will feature the best of New South Wales artisan and boutique produce and goods, coming together in one open-air location. There will also be rides and activities for the kids as well as live music!
The market will be filled with fresh and delicious food stalls serving a wide range of cuisines including Thai, American, Vietnamese, Spanish, Israeli, Chinese, Italian and South American. Arrive hungry so you don’t miss out on tasting your way through your favourites.
“People like to meet the people who make their goods, to buy fresh local foods that are lovingly presented and have a great experience while at it,” says market organiser Madelienne Anderson.
These alfresco-style markets offer a fun and unique way to shop, eat and be entertained whilst making a contribution to small local businesses. “By supporting the sort of micro businesspeople who sell at our markets, they are helping a wide network of families to thrive, and buying things they can’t get elsewhere.”
The Cronulla market is part of a series of amazing events Cambridge Markets are hosting in 2021 across Sydney and further afield. “Markets are really making a comeback,” Anderson said. “People love the intimate feel of them and everyone loves that they can find unique, interesting and sustainable products — the sorts of things you just can’t get on supermarket shelves. And being outside is such a bonus.”
With great food, lively music and guaranteed good times, Cambridge Markets will be the perfect addition to your weekend.
